A family, a flock, and a different way to farm

Cosmic Family Farms is a family-owned and operated farm in Blythe, California, raising Dorper sheep. We're not a hobby operation and we're not an industrial one — we're a working family farm, small enough to know our animals and serious enough to do right by the people who buy from us.

We chose Dorper sheep deliberately: a hardy, low-stress breed that produces some of the finest lamb there is. You can read more about the breed — and why it matters for what ends up on your table — on our flock page.

One thing makes us unusual among family farms: we build the software we run on. CashSheet — the availability, order, and accounting platform used by protein processors — is a product of Cosmic Family Farms LLC, and this farm runs on it every day. When we tell you something is available, it is; when we commit to a date, we keep it.
